Never Have I Fallen(Gaston Gros)
Your lips speak soft sweetness
Your touch a cool caress
I am lost in your magic
My heart beats within your chest
I think of you each morning
And dream of you each night
I think of your arms being around me
And cannot express my delight
Never have I fallen
But I am quickly on my way
You hold a heart in your hands
That has never before been given away

Aww this poem is so sweet (: Im glad the girl he loves has never given her heart away. That means its in mint condition..and im also glad the poet plans to take good care of it (:
ReplyDeleteI think this poem is very sweet in an innocent kind of way since the author has clearly, as stated, never fallen in love before this but now admits and realizes that they are falling in love now for his/her first time. It also has a loose rhyme scheme and is short, simple, and sweet, very to the point.
ReplyDeleteI also like this poem becuase I believe it captures the theme of love and I also aggree with Raven about how she didn't give her heart away. I feel that you should give your heart away to anyone until you feel its right like this girl in the poem... Thats just my point of view...
