Freedom(Gaston Gros)

Ring the Bells of Freedom,
and liberty tolls for we.
Quench the Ring of Freedom,
and oppression tolls for thee.

  1. This poem is very short and to the point but i like it. It has a specific abab rhyme scheme and talks about the privelege of freedom and definitely has to do with patriotism.

  2. when u look down at the impressionistic meaning of this poem. it says when there is freedom there is liberty and when freedom is quenched then surely oppression is opened. so one cannot exist unless the other is gone. this short reminder just reminds us about america n the liberties we take for granted
